🌿 Each clipping will include at least ONE leaf and ONE node. They will all include a node on the stem for propagation. The node is where the leaf attaches to the stem and often appears as a "bump" for pothos and philodendron. Roots may or may not be present at time of clipping. Clippings without roots will be cut fresh the night before or day of shipping.
The pictures are just an example of the type of Hoya Pubicalyx Splash silver speckled cutting you are buying. You will not receive the exact same clipping of the Hoya Pubicalyx Splash in the photo.
👋 Also, please understand NOT all leaves/cuttings will be in absolute 100% perfect condition. Unfortunately, nature isn't always perfect. There may be some very small blemishes or maybe none at all depending on the plant and where I can cut. But I will absolutely NOT send you a dying leaf with a huge brown spot or hole that's for sure! 😉 Sometimes I may include an extra one that has some minor cosmetic damage if you'd like to prop it as well. 🥹

🍃 Please check out the propagation tips & tricks to help your new plant(s) thrive!
#1.) Place your plant cutting(s) in a glass jar with fresh water. I like to use distilled water with prop drops. Fill the container with enough water to cover the node (and any roots). Keep the nodes underwater at all times. Put it in a spot that receives bright to moderate indirect light. Do not place in strong, direct light or too low of light.
#2.) Keep an eye on your cuttings and check the root growth from the node on a weekly basis. Add fresh water when needed. You can replace the water every few weeks or top it off when looking low. Just make sure there is no murkiness or fungi growing.
#3.) Wait until the root(s) are at least 2-5 inches before transplanting your cutting(s) from the glass water into a planter with potting mix. Some also say to wait until your 'roots have roots'. This could take 2-4 weeks depending on the cutting. Once the roots of the cutting are potted in fresh potting mix, saturate it with room temperature water and place in bright indirect light. Let it dry between waterings. During this transition, it is normal for it to experience some wilting as the roots establish themselves.
🙆♀️ While I am here to help with the amazing and fun propagation experience, I cannot promise or guarantee 100% successful propagations. For more success, you may also want to "google" and do your own research on how best to take care of your cuttings and keep learning on your plant-loving journey! 🌻 Being prepared and gaining knowledge about the process will help you to help your plants thrive.

💥 If there are any issues with your order, please reach out to me so we can find a solution. It is uncommon but some cuttings may not survive shipment. Send me a message with a picture within 48 hours of delivery. Sometimes wilting, yellowing and browning is completely normal when plants are stressed and the nodes will still be viable.

📦 **Shipping Note: Shipping charges include the cost of postage plus the specialized packaging materials needed to safely ship live plant cuttings (protective wrapping, moisture supplies, cushioning, individualized labeling, appropriate-sized boxes, and packing materials). If shipping is overestimated, any excess amount will be refunded.
How your cuttings ship
Every cutting is carefully selected and prepared close to shipping. Cuttings are typically fresh and unrooted, although occasional early root growth may be present. Each one is wrapped in a damp paper towel, sealed in plastic wrap, and packed with protective cushioning to help it stay hydrated during transit.
Most orders ship Monday through Wednesday so cuttings don't sit in a postal facility over the weekend. Priority orders may also ship Thursday or Friday. We don't use heat or cold packs.
If your order arrives with a shipping-related issue, please send clear photos or an unboxing video within 48 hours of delivery so I can help.
Rooting your cuttings
Unwrap your cuttings as soon as they arrive. Place the node (the little bump where the leaf meets the stem) in a glass of water or damp sphagnum moss, keeping the leaves above the water.
Set them in bright, indirect light and change the water about once a week. Roots may begin to appear in 2–4 weeks, although every cutting is different.
Once the roots are approximately 2–5 inches long, pot your cutting in well-draining soil and keep it lightly moist while it settles in.
Grown with prayer
Every cutting from Prayerfully Planted is grown, cut, and packed by hand with care and a prayer for the home it's headed to. We hope your new plant brings a little life, peace, and encouragement to your space.
“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.” — 2 Peter 3:18
