🌿 EXOTICA SCINDAPSUS PLANT CUTTINGS

Grow your own beautiful Exotica Scindapsus from fresh plant cuttings! Also known botanically as Scindapsus pictus ‘Exotica,’ this striking trailing houseplant is loved for its large, velvety green leaves covered in dramatic silver splashes and mottled variegation. 🌱

Choose how many Exotica Scindapsus cuttings you'd like to receive and root them at home in water or your preferred propagation method. These are fresh stem cuttings taken from my own healthy mother plants and are perfect for expanding your indoor plant collection or starting a new trailing houseplant.

My plant journey started years ago, and my home has since become wonderfully overrun with greenery. 😆🪴 Prayerfully Planted gives me a way to share some of that growth with fellow plant lovers!

🌱 WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE

Each Exotica Scindapsus cutting will include:

• At least one healthy leaf
• At least one viable node for propagation
• A fresh stem cutting from one of my established mother plants
• Natural silver variegation unique to each cutting

The node is the small bump or joint along the stem where new roots and growth can develop.

Your cutting will be selected specifically for your order, so you will not receive the exact cutting pictured. Photos show examples of the size, coloring and overall type of cutting you can expect.

Because these are real, naturally grown plants, every leaf is a little different. Exotica Scindapsus variegation can vary from leaf to leaf, with different amounts and patterns of silver spotting, splashing and marbling. Minor cosmetic imperfections, tiny blemishes or variations in shape and variegation may occasionally be present — nature doesn't make carbon copies! 🌿 I will never intentionally send a badly damaged, dying or unhealthy cutting.

📦 FRESHLY CUT + CAREFULLY SHIPPED

Cuttings are carefully selected and prepared close to shipping so they spend as little unnecessary time in transit as possible. They are typically fresh and unrooted, although occasional early root growth may be present.

Orders generally ship Monday–Wednesday to help prevent live plant cuttings from sitting in a postal facility over the weekend. Priority orders may have additional shipping-day flexibility.

🛑 EXTREME WEATHER?

If your area is experiencing very hot or cold temperatures, I strongly recommend choosing Priority Shipping to reduce transit time and give your cutting the best chance of arriving in great condition.

Please keep an eye on your local forecast before ordering. I cannot control carrier delays, extreme temperatures or other conditions after a package has entered the mail stream.

🌿 ABOUT PROPAGATING YOUR CUTTING

Exotica Scindapsus can be propagated from stem cuttings containing a viable node.

When your cutting arrives, unwrap it promptly and place the node in water or damp sphagnum moss while keeping the leaf above the waterline. Give it bright, indirect light and a little patience. 🌱

Roots may begin to appear in 2–4 weeks, although every cutting is different. Once the roots are approximately 2–5 inches long, you can transplant your cutting into well-draining potting mix and keep it lightly moist while it settles in.

Propagation is a living process, so rooting time and success can vary from cutting to cutting. While I carefully choose viable nodes and healthy plant material, successful rooting cannot be guaranteed after delivery.

💚 QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS?

If your order arrives with a shipping-related issue, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery and send clear photos or an unboxing video so I can help.

Some temporary wilting, yellowing or leaf stress can happen during shipping and does not necessarily mean the node is no longer viable.

🌱 GROW SOMETHING NEW

Exotica Scindapsus cuttings are an affordable way to grow your own beautifully silver-variegated trailing indoor houseplant from the beginning. Watch the roots develop, pot up your new plant, and enjoy seeing its bold, velvety leaves trail and climb as it grows. 🏡🌿

📦 SHIPPING NOTE

Shipping charges include postage as well as the protective materials used to safely package live plant cuttings, including moisture protection, wrapping, cushioning, labels and appropriately sized packaging. If shipping is significantly overestimated, any excess will be refunded.

How your cuttings ship

Every cutting is carefully selected and prepared close to shipping. Cuttings are typically fresh and unrooted, although occasional early root growth may be present. Each one is wrapped in a damp paper towel, sealed in plastic wrap, and packed with protective cushioning to help it stay hydrated during transit.

Most orders ship Monday through Wednesday so cuttings don't sit in a postal facility over the weekend. Priority orders may also ship Thursday or Friday. We don't use heat or cold packs.

If your order arrives with a shipping-related issue, please send clear photos or an unboxing video within 48 hours of delivery so I can help.

Rooting your cuttings

Unwrap your cuttings as soon as they arrive. Place the node (the little bump where the leaf meets the stem) in a glass of water or damp sphagnum moss, keeping the leaves above the water.

Set them in bright, indirect light and change the water about once a week. Roots may begin to appear in 2–4 weeks, although every cutting is different.

Once the roots are approximately 2–5 inches long, pot your cutting in well-draining soil and keep it lightly moist while it settles in.

Grown with prayer

Every cutting from Prayerfully Planted is grown, cut, and packed by hand with care and a prayer for the home it's headed to. We hope your new plant brings a little life, peace, and encouragement to your space.

“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.” — 2 Peter 3:18
