Unfortunately, nature isn't always perfect. There may be some very small blemishes or maybe none at all depending on the plant and where I can cut. Place your plant cutting(s) in a glass jar with fresh water. I like to use distilled water with prop drops. Fill the container with enough water to cover the node (and any roots). Keep the nodes underwater at all times. Put it in a spot that receives bright to moderate indirect light. Do not place in strong, direct light or too low of light.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e#2.) Keep an eye on your cuttings and check the root growth from the node on a weekly basis. Add fresh water when needed. You can replace the water every few weeks or top it off when looking low. Just make sure there is no murkiness or fungi growing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e#3.) Wait until the root(s) are at least 2-5 inches before transplanting your cutting(s) from the glass water into a planter with potting mix. Some also say to wait until your 'roots have roots'. This could take 2-4 weeks depending on the cutting. Once the roots of the cutting are potted in fresh potting mix, saturate it with room temperature water and place in bright indirect light. Let it dry between waterings.
